Always Never The Same

 Write On!
Back to Full Blog

Late last night, after that last trick-or-treater finally left my doorstep, some insomnia, and deep thought, I began to think about the blogging community and what it means to me. In more ways than not, it has been an arena where my life has become enriched, and even sometimes embarrassed. But where else could I have learned so much about the many complexities and threads that make us uniquely who we are.

I have also learned about the computer as a workable and valuable machine; being given lessons in world events, technologies, recovery, and introduced to the world of blogging. Whereas, I have participated in debates with others about everything from sex, religion,  politics, and people. It has been a great and meaningful ride as I have encountered many great people, and then at times others, who have not been so kind or nice.

We all take on many different roles in the blogging world, that of teacher, friend, agent provocateur, therapist, and the list goes on and on.
My eyes have been opened widely to the complex world around me as a result of my blog and my fellow bloggers'.

Most importantly, in addition to interaction, blogging has allowed me to engage in my greatest of all possible loves, writing! Mostly e
very day I come here and engage in discourse with my most passionate lover, the written word!

I think you've crystallized the experience Rita Gail-- there's great and not-so-great stuff--and we get to choose which we participate in!

Love Bomb

I have been working around the clock for some time now, reading everything from War & Peace to the ingredients label from a vintage Hostess Twinkie, trying to devise the perfect antidote to hurt, fear, hate and all that emanates from the Dark Side. This endeavor, which I have code-named, “The Man Hat Project,” has finally reached its glorious pinnacle. After a few misguided attempts, my apologies to the guineas , I have stumbled (many thanks to Budweiser) upon the answer.

The Love Bomb is fashioned after the US Military’s bunker-buster technology and no-one, no-where, can escape its Positive Energies. While most of the science behind it is too complex to reveal here, the end results are Utopian.

All who are within 3 blogs of this post have now been cleansed by its Healing Light and will henceforth show kindness, compassion and respect for their fellow man. I did have to remove the Ecstacy from the publically distributed version. You’ll, no doubt, be receiving emails describing how you can obtain this “Marc’s Special” version of the Love Bomb.

Surrender to the Love now and climb aboard this Love Train. We are going coast-to-coast to those that need us the most!

I'm onboard with the writing thing. Oftentimes at night or in a dream, words to begin an article or a poem will wake me and then I have to force myself to get up and write it down, so I don't forget them.

Dang why I can't I just wake up from a sexy dream like everyone else?

You're just being modest about your dreams, right? Sweet dreams, Debbie.
